Photo By: Leslie Cole u0022][/caption] Telling stories through pictures, multimedia, or video is one of my passions. I was born in Valencia, Venezuela. When I was 13 (2002), I moved to the U.S. with my family. I had to quickly adjust my way of life and thinking as well as learn a new language. Since fall 2006, I have been working as a staff photographer, and most recently, as managing editor of IUPUI Student Media. My responsibilities as an editor include choosing and fine-tuning all of the graphic content produced by our staff photographers. I also have also covered sports events including like MotoGP, Formula 1, Indy 500, and Indianapolis Indians, IUPUI athletics, Big Ten Swimming Tournament, Indiana high school football and many others. IUPUI Student Media (ISM) is the independent media outlet at Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis. Recently, ISM underwent a major restructure, of which I was a key part. We moved away from an exclusive print-based publication to the web because of the ability to further incorporate video and multimedia into our productions.
