The battle of the sprinklers

jimenezd_sprinklers-1 — I’ve lived in my current house for about six years. When we first moved in, our lawn was sodded. It took almost two years before my grass looked sort of decent. After a lot of hard work and cash, my lawn looks good. But I have competition. My next-door neighbors are a very nice retired Asian couple. And all they pretty much do during the day is fidget with the grass. They wake up really early to water the lawn. And they water it again in the evening. I can only water it during the evenings. And they know that and they let me know it too. My competition is rough! My sprinklers (foreground) can’t keep up.
